Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026

This policy explains what personal information this website handles, why we handle it, who it may reach, and what choices you have. The company named in the footer of this website and on our Contact page (“we”, “us”) is the data controller for the information described here. This site is directed at businesses, not consumers.

1. Information we collect

What you send us. When you use the enquiry form or request a quotation from a product page, we receive the details you type: your name, company, e-mail address, telephone number, country, the product or service you are interested in, and your message. Where you correspond with us by e-mail afterwards, we keep that correspondence.

What is recorded automatically. Our hosting provider logs standard technical data for each request — IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and time of request — which we use to keep the site running and to prevent abuse. We do not combine this with cross-site tracking profiles.

What we do not do. We do not run advertising networks or behavioural tracking on this site, we do not embed third-party video or social widgets that track you across the web, and we never sell your personal information.

2. How we use your information

To answer your enquiry and send quotations; to agree, produce, deliver and support an order, including warranty and after-sales service; to keep records required for accounting and tax; to defend or pursue legal claims; and to improve our products and the information we publish. We do not make decisions about you by automated means and we do not profile you.

3. Legal basis

Where the General Data Protection Regulation or a comparable law applies, we process the information above on the basis of steps you asked us to take before entering into a contract and the performance of that contract, our legitimate interest in operating and securing a business website and responding to commercial enquiries, and compliance with legal obligations. Marketing e-mail beyond your enquiry is sent only where you have asked for it, and you can stop it at any time.

4. Cookies and local storage

This site uses the smallest amount of storage that lets it work:

  • locale — remembers which language you chose so the site keeps showing it. Set when you switch language; kept up to one year.
  • admin_session — keeps a member of staff signed in to the private administration area. Not set for ordinary visitors; it is HTTP-only and expires after seven days.

No analytics, advertising or social cookies are set. Deleting your browser cookies or using the language switcher resets the preference cookie.

5. Who we share information with

Only as far as needed to run the business: our infrastructure provider (website hosting and database), our e-mail delivery provider (so enquiry notifications reach our sales desk), our accounting advisers, and carriers or freight forwarders handling a shipment you ordered. Each of these processes data on our instructions and is expected to use it only for that purpose. We may also disclose information where we are required to by law or to protect our rights.

6. Where information is stored and international transfers

Enquiry data is stored on servers maintained for us, which may be located outside your country, and it is transmitted to our sales team by e-mail. Where a transfer requires safeguards under applicable law, we rely on recognised transfer mechanisms and take technical and contractual steps to keep the data protected.

7. Retention

We keep enquiry and quotation records for as long as they remain commercially relevant, typically up to three years from your last contact with us, and order, invoice and warranty records for the longer periods required by tax, company and product-liability rules. Records are deleted or anonymised once those periods end.

8. Your rights

Subject to local law, you may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correction of anything inaccurate, deletion of data no longer needed, restriction or objection to processing, transfer of the data you gave us, and withdrawal of any consent. Write to us using the contact details on our Contact page or in the footer; we may need to verify that you are the person concerned, and we answer within the timeframes the law allows. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

9. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, administration is behind authentication, and access to stored data is limited to the people who need it for their role. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we keep the information we collect to the minimum needed.

10. Children

This website is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age at which they can contract for the services described here; please tell us if you believe a child has sent us information and we will remove it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site, our services or the law change. The version published on this page at the time you contact us or place an order is the one that applies, and material changes will be signposted on the site.
